Intro To the Unity Network

  • We are a non-partisan, non-special interest community grass roots, glocal based network with a variety of programs, projects, and organizations. As we are just launching our systems, everything is current only available in english, but eventually we will expand to other languages. The centerpiece of Unity Network is a 501c3 non-profit organization called CLN , our not-for-profit branch is called BJC, and our governance branch is called GEP.
  • Our goal is to raise funds to support movements from across the world to collaborate together for the benefit of humanity. Our processes are targeted at making all of our systems and programs accessible to the the most number of people possible. This means that most of our work takes place online, and we specialize in the fast one second click voting, the 5 minute meeting, and the 1 hour campaign launch because people are busy.
  • Everything we do is structured and systemic to create efficient and effective processes that can synchronize with the way our current society functions, which is fast and busy. All of our worker positions are organized into doing simple tasks that can be done in less than 1 hour so that anyone with a free hour can get involved. For people who can volunteer or be paid to work for more hours, you will have to take on multiple tasks or positions.
  • Our current structure consists of a one week active session per month where we pay people, and the rest of the month is volunteer only, but in general people who are paid cannot volunteer.
  • Within our network we have a few startups and we use alternative economic systems for our commerce, including choose your own price, chose your own pay rate, and giving everyone equity in our startups regardless of what program or project you are helping out with. We will give more info on our equity system in just a bit.

Communications

  • Email
    • Our primary communications process for workers is email: hr[at]heeo.in

Set Up Worker Reporting Pads

  • The first step to becoming a worker in our network is to set up your Worker Reporting Pads. All of our systems are built to be self organizing, so you will need to take the initiative to get yourself set up in our system. This is quite easy, but you will need a computer with internet connection for most of the work that you do with us. This should only take 10-15min.

    • Updating Pads with your information

General at bottom - based on schedule when available.

Updating you Pay Rate, Equity Set Up, & Understanding Lowest Bidder

You should have already chosen a Fair Pay Rate, and your Lowest Actual Pay Rate. Your Equity is calculated from the difference. As a starting point, we use this for all the work that you do, but at anytime you are welcome to update your Pay Rate and Equity Status with us. This can included different rates for different types of positions and tasks. Pay Rate and Equity Status changes should be done by email to hr@heeo.in, and once there is agreement by email, you need to let us know you want to change it , and get confirmation from us, before it goes into effect. Our selection process goes to the lowest bidder who is able to complete the work, so do choose rates that reflect a small start up community organization if you want a lot of work. You get 3 weeks of approved work within our network with just a simple email agreement. Three weeks within our one week per month paid schedule would equal three months of a calendar year. Before that time, you will need to be approved by the HR Board, and create and sign an official contract with us to continue working. Once you have created and signed a contract, you can change it as needed, but it will need to be re-approved by the HR Board again before it comes into effect.
